This University center addresses the interdisciplinary needs of human rights work through training and applied research. Built on Boston College’s tradition of service to others, the Center nurtures a new generation of scholars and practitioners who draw upon the strengths of many disciplines and the wisdom of rigorous ethical inquiry.
With the help of Columbkille Parish, the Archdiocese of Boston, and Boston College, this Catholic elementary school has created a new standard of national excellence in teaching and serves as the area’s flagship Catholic school. Lynch School faculty collaborate with educational experts and St. Columbkille teachers to implement state-of-the-art educational approaches.
The Lynch School and Carroll School of Management joined forces to create the LLA—an innovative program strengthening skills among leaders at district, charter, and Catholic urban schools. Each year, approximately 30 fellows are chosen to participate in a retreat, a two-week summer institute, coaching sessions, and data-driven workshops.
